Three soldiers of security belt forces killed in Abyan blast

Three soldiers of the pro-UAE security forces were killed and three others wounded in a bomb attack on a patrol in the southern province of Abyan, a government military source said Wednesday.

The source told Al-Masdar online that an explosive device exploded in a military vehicle (kit) when it was carrying out a security patrol in the city, in the public street, killing two immediately, while the third died of the severe injury.

Until now, no one has claimed responsibility for the incident.

However, the source pointed fingers at the extremist al-Qaeda organization, which is active in the directorate, after withdrawing from Abyan province in full during earlier times.
