Huge prevalence of Houthi militants in anticipation of demonstrations against them in Sana'a

Dozens of Al-Houthi militants were deployed at the points and entrances to the capital Sana'a on Saturday, in anticipation of a demonstration to be organized in Tahrir Square in the center of the city, to demand that the group pay salaries and against Hunger.

Eyewitnesses told Al-Masdar online that the Houthis intensified their presence at the points in the city, while they tightened the procedures at the City's outlets, in anticipation of the entry of demonstrators into the city under their control since September 2014.

Activists--including women--announced on social networking sites and instant messaging applications their intention to go to Tahrir square, in a demonstration against Hunger.

But the Houthis made promises to crush the demonstration violently, and they would never tolerate the demonstrators, who, they described as "destabilizing, creating chaos, and disrupting the general peace".
