Al-Houthi leader threatens to bombard Riyadh and Abu Dhabi with rockets if the Hodeidah truce collapses


Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of the al-Houthi group, threatened to bombard Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as the truce collapsed in the coastal city of Hodeidah, west of Yemen, reached under Sweden's consultations.

"His forces have rockets that can reach Riyadh, Dubai and Abu Dhabi if violence escalates in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah," he said in his first appearance in a press interview with the Al-Masirah channel, adding "our rockets are capable of reaching Riyadh and beyond Riyadh, to Dubai and Abu Dhabi."

"We have strategic, energetic, sensitive and influential goals that can be targeted in the event of any escalation in Hodeidah," he said. "They are able to shake the UAE economy strongly," he added.

In his interview, al-Houthi addressed letters to several Parties, including Iran and Hizballah, in which he affirmed "our common denominators "
