A leader of Saleh's party killed by an explosive device in Hadramout

A prominent leader of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh's party was killed when a roadside bomb exploded in his car in the city of Trim in Hadramout province, southeast of Yemen.

 

Almotamar Net, official website of Saleh’s Party, reported that an explosive device planted by al-Qaeda militants had exploded in the car of the GPC leader Ali Bamabed, after he left the house of one of his relatives.

 

The GPC leaderAli Obeid Bamabed, a member of the leadership of the GPC in Hadramout, was killed after his car was blown up by a bomb planted by terrorist elements.”

 

Bamabed was the GPC youth leader, chairman of the technical committee, and former director of Youth Ministry’s Office in Hadhramout.
